The ADvantage program is a Medicaid program administered by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services ADvantage division. The program serves age 65 and older and adults with physical disabilities age 21 and older. It allows members to receive services while remaining in their homes. At Excell, ADvantage services provided are:
• Case Management
• Personal Care
• Skilled Nursing
We can also assist in the coordination of other ADvantage services such as:
• Home Delivered Meals
• Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies
ADvantage program does not provide 24-hour care and one must be able to remain in your home. For those members who do not prefer nursing home care, ADvantage may be a good alternative for you.
When approved for the ADvantage program, Excell's assigned case manager will coordinate a care plan that will meet your specific needs.
In order to qualify for the ADvantage program, you must meet both financial and medical qualifications. Financial qualifications are determined by a case worker at the local Oklahoma Department of Human Services Center. To meet medical qualifications, you must meet nursing home level care, which is determined by a nurse at the local Oklahoma Department of Human Services Center.
At Excell, ADvantage program services are provided by ADvantage Certified Case Managers, Personal Care Attendants, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. Our staff is overseen by a Registered Nurse Clinical Director and carefully screened, as well as bonded and insured. For more information, please call 866.631.8711.
